Frequently Asked Questions

General

Do you have full albums for viewing?

Although contracts do include rights to use photos and films for my portfolio, only selected works are presented here. Full albums from clients are not provided for full viewing, as some privacy is still given.

What’s your style?

As a storyteller who loves to tell stories. Every moment captured whether it be a still or a moving picture, is to tell an empowering and impactful story. I love bold colors, complex and creative framing, and moments that feel personal, but don’t require me to be in your face with a big ole lens.

How much time do I need?

Depending on the occasion, for portraits most people book hourly, and tend to only use 15-30mins. The hour is always required to allow for any hiccups along the way. For film, depending on the occasion, 3-4hrs is required for personal moments, and events longer than 5hrs, will have a coverage period, with extension room.

Do you do short films?

Absolutely! Seeing as shorts require longer prep and planning, please provide as much information as possible, as well as a functioning email and phone in the inquiry. Please allow 48-72hrs for a response, as well as providing shoot dates.

Do you do music videos?

Always open to trying new projects and experiences, for specific projects concerning filming, please provide an inquiry, with as much detail as possible, and if you’re comfortable a phone number for easier contact and discussion.

Can I request you for photography & videography?

Yes of course! Provided the event doesn’t require both at the same time; as I am one individual. This can be discussed during the initial booking, please be aware, both videography and photography cannot be done at the same time, as one medium would have to be sacrificed to perfect another.

If my session is short do I still need a contract?

Yes, with each and every booking a contract is always required, and a copy given to both parties, for security and sincerity purposes.

Pricing

When is my payment do?

During the booking and signing stage, a deposit to secure your spot is due; 20% of the total. The final payment is due 2 weeks before your event. If the time frame is shortened for an impromptu booking; final payment is due the week of the event, and no more than 4 days before.

Do you do payment plans?

Your payments, can be split into what’s comfortable for the party; this can be discussed further during booking.

How do you price your packages?

For short films, music videos and or experimental, please provide an inquiry. Wedding Highlights are priced based duration & location. Photography portrait shoots are priced hourly; event photography as well, unless the duration surpasses 4hrs, it becomes customized.

Delivery

Will I receive my photos/video in a week? Can I see photos early?

Generally no; patience and care is put into the editing process. Turnaround times are discussed at initial booking. If your preference changes after or during your event, a rush can be provided for an extra agreed upon fee.

Do you give out RAW photos?

Unedited photos or RAW files are not provided. RAW normally means an unprocessed, original file—it does not mean an unedited raw ‘fresh out the camera’ image. As these files are large before they’re put through edits, provided them would require extra hosting, and an extra fee.

Do I receive every image/clip you take?

As with every work, there are drafts and test runs, photography and film are the same. Blinking, blurred images, out of focus shots, etc. I try to provide a variety of images. While also making sure all the best parts are captured.

What’s your turn around?

Turnaround times are based off the duration of the session or event, as well as the time of year. Generally for photography 1-2 weeks, for small sessions similar to portraits and families. For event photography 3-6 weeks, for small events and for larger events 6-8 weeks. Film & Video highlights are minimum 5-8 weeks; including any necessarily adjustments and edits. Turn around is normally discussed during the booking process.

Travel

Do you travel?

I am a traveling creative soul, i.E I love to travel, this also includes travel photography. Based in the Tri-State area; but willing to travel. Me and my Jeep are ready willing and able! Discussion concerning the travel requirements would be brought up during initial booking.

Do you have travel limitations or charge for travel?

Generally there are no limitations on traveling. For regular portrait or film projects located in NJ or NY the travel fee is factored into the booking. For projects or sessions outside of the Tri-State Area, approximate details would need to discussed during quoting and booking to factor in the correct travel fees.
