Salams, Hello! Hi?

I’m Maymunah! Photographer and Cinematographer based in North Jersey. 9/10 you’ll find me somewhere with either a camera, my kindle or my passport. If it’s not already super obvious, I love photos, film and of course traveling (travel photography releases serotonin trust me). I also enjoy reading, interesting frames, that burst of color at sunset and most of all visual storytelling. I got into cinematography through the usual: burning out the rental VHS tapes, and the iconic “film school”. As for photography, I took a photography class and decided I could learn more if I just fiddled with my camera which I did—and well here I am.
